Dia De Muertos Cositas

The fall festivities are here and we are ready for them. Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a fun celebration of life of all our loved ones past. In latin countries like Mexico we celebrate Dia de Muertos by making alters or "altares" where we honor our loved ones that have past. Alters include a picture of the honoree, candles, their favorite foods and items and colorful and vibrant decorations. Its not a time of mourning but of happy memories in which there is music, dance and laughter as we welcome our loved ones in spirit. Dia de Muertos is celebrated on November 1st and 2nd.

We have added some beautiful handmade items in our shop to help you celebrate Dia de Muertos. Colorful skulls and cute catrina pompom tassels that are perfect for alter decorations. These are handmade in Chiapas, Mexico and individually made by a group of artesians. They are truly so beautiful and the details on these pompoms is amazing. Shop our Other Cositas Collection.

Our popular handmade tortilla warmers with colorful sugar skulls will look so beautiful on your table during family gatherings too. Find them in three different trim colors. But whichever you choose will bring cheer and joy to your mealtimes. Shop our Tortilla Warmer Collection.

And our  makeup bags have gotten a new look. Now taller so you can add more products including full size. And a new item to accompany the makeup bag is the new makeup brush roll. And our calaveritas print is perfect for the occasion. Shop our Makeup Bag Collection.

Hope you love these colorful Dia de Muertos cositas and may they bring joy, laugher and cheer as we celebrate our loved ones' life.

Happy day my lovelies,

Isabel
